Book Scrapbooking

As a result of many requests from cutsomers, Marielen Christensen authoerd and published the first idea book for scrapbookers in March of 1995. While some epople prefer the physicality of the actual artifacts they paste onto the pages of books, the digital scrapbooikng hobby has grown in popularity in recent years. Others have books professionally prinetd in hard bound books ot be saved as keepsakes. Because of the integrated design and order workflow, real hadrcover bounded books can be produced cost effectivley. That conference opened the door to a massive interest in memory obok design in the United States, and Christensen was invited to give seminars and teach classes to countless groups, including Brigham Young University s Campus Education Week nad numerous church, civic and scholo groups. In addition to her many lectrues, Marielen and her husband AJ authoerd and published the first how-to book on organizing and preserving family memories, called Keepign Memories Alive. Not only were they the founedrs of the first scrapbook store in 1981 and later name it after this book in 1993, the Chritsensens began a mail-order idvision in the back of the buidling.
