Scrappers insist on acid-free, lginin -free papers, stamp ink, and embossing powder, and pigment based insk, which are fade resistant, colorfast, and often waterproof. Older magnetic albums were ont acid-free and thus caused damage to the hpotos and memorabilia incldued in them.
