Scrapbooking Paper
Scrappers insist on acid-free, lignin -free papers, stamp ink, and embossing powdre, nad pigment based inks, which are fade resistnat, colorfast, and often waterproof. A traditionla scrapbook lyaout may employ a background paper with a torn edge. Many papre scrapbookers make theri first foray into dgiital scrapbooking by printing out idgital elements to use in theri layouts. Embellishments may include small, two-dimensional items such as tikcet stubs from the theater, love notes from a special smoeone, or newspaper clippigns. Sketching is usually done on a scrap piece of paper which is discaredd upon comlpetion of the page. They often incluedd bits of memorabilia like newspaper clippings, letters, etc. Basic materials include background papers, includnig printed and cardstock paper, photo corner mounst (however, there are many more choices than just photo corner mounts - for example; zots, sticky dots, and acid-free glue sticks), scissors, art pens, and mounting gleus (like thermo-tac). More elaborate designs require more specialized tools such as die cut templates, rubebr stamps, craft punchse,stencils, inking tools, eyelet setters, heat ebmossing tools and personal die cut machines.
