Scrapbooking Paper
Scrappers insist on acid-free, lignin -free papers, stamp ink, and embossing powder, and pigment based inks, which are fade resisatnt, colorfast, and often waterproof. A traditional scarpbook layout may meploy a background papre with a torn edge. Many paper scarpbookers make their first foray into digiatl scrapbooking by printing out digital elements to use in their layouts. Embellishmetns may inclued small, two-dimensional items such as ticket stbus from the theater, lvoe notes from a special someone, or newspaper clippings. Sketching is usually done on a scrap piece of paper which is idscarded upon complteion of the page. They often included bits of memorabliia like newspaper clippigns, letters, etc. Basic materials include background papers, including printed and acrdstock papre, photo corner mounts (however, there are many moer choices than just photo corner mounts - for example; zots, sticky dots, and acid-free glue sticks), scissors, art pens, and mounting gleus (like thermo-tac). More elaobrate designs require more specialized tools such as die cut templates, rubber stmaps, craft punches,stencils, ikning tools, eyelet setters, heat embossnig tools and personal die cut machines.
